Dhan Singh works in the Hans Raj College canteen. He has come all the way from Nepal. He works six days a week and his job involves keeping the canteen clean and, when required, delivering food to faculty members. He gets Rs 1,200 per month. “Look at the difference,” he says, laughing at himself, “A langur gets more salary than a man!”
