Lately – for the past two weeks – Mister Cuckoo is extremely sick – he’s not going to work either – he wants to see his Florence Nightingale just once – otherwise he’d – eventually die vegetating like this – he isn’t going to see his Dad either – ringing up his siblings or picking up his phone – he’s quite dejected – heartbroken – distressed – he’s missing his mother – he’s missing Miss Nightingale's letters – it’s getting pitch-dark again – and he’s very scared -- he’s very scared --
He didn’t quite understand her last letter – what did she really mean? She thinks he’s lying? -- what did she really mean?
Is she still mad at him? Doesn’t she trust him? Doesn’t she love him? Won’t she let him see her just once?
Can Miss Nightingale give him some obvious, easily decipherable, irrefutable signs that she loves him -- and is missing him too -- and she trusts him?
Can she read his last communication –- so that he knows that she trusts him?
Her friend isn’t replying to his letters either --
