Shararas are traditional ethnic wear worn prominently by women living in India. This outfit essentially comprises of pleated loose pants that are worn with a chunni (which is somewhat like a stole) along with a kurti, which is a traditional Indian top.
I couldn’t find the ‘right’ -- ditto -- yesteryears’ Sharara snapshot -- It wasn’t ethnic then – It’s simply Sharara – These images are too modern. I'd give you an example: I'm trying to show you a picture of an abacus -- but all I'd show you is a wacky and warped pictorial representation(s) of a calculator or a computer. Got it? :(
